Swimming : Basic Knowledge of Swimming is mandatory.
Salary
During Training : You get fixed stipend of Rupees 56,100 per month.
Starting Salary : After training, you join as a Lieutenant with starting basic salary between Rupees 56,100 and 1,77,500 (Level 10)
Salary Growth : As you get promoted, your salary increases with your rank.
Military Service Pay (MSP) : Officers from the rank of Lieutenant to Brigadier gets an extra Rupees 15,500 per month as a fixed military allowance.
Extra Benefits : On top of the basic salary, officers also receive various other government allowances and benefits according to Army rules.
