Educational Qualification
Option 1:
Matriculation (10th) from a recognized board.
Valid Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation (CMR), 2017 or any other certificate in mining that entitles the applicant to work as a Mining Sirdar.
Valid Gas Testing Certificate.
Valid First Aid Certificate.
Option 2:
Matriculation (10th) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized institute.
Valid Overman Competency Certificate issued by DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation (CMR), 2017 or any other certificate in mining that entitles the applicant to work as a Mining Sirdar.
Valid Gas Testing Certificate.
Valid First Aid Certificate.
Selection Process
The selection process is based on single Computer Based Test (CBT) of 100 marks (no negative marking). After the CBT, shortlisted candidates undergo document verification. The final merit list is based purely on CBT scores.
